General Course Information:
Doncaster is one of the best known racecourses in the UK and is home to the oldest British Classic, the St Leger and if it's speed rather than stamina that you're after then this track is the one to visit. The course is reknowned for it's excellent drainage meaning that the ground rarely turns testing which makes for great racing.

One of it's most popular festivals is the four-day St Leger Meeting in September which features a number of group and listed races. This is followed, early in the following year, by the Pertemps Great Yorkshire Chase in January which is one of the highlights of the National Hunt season.
