Towcester Racecourse
Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Easton Neston estate, Towcester Racecourse is one of the most picturesque racing venues in the country. With an investment of over £7.5 million into the course and its facilities in the last three years, Towcester is a course with high aspirations for the future. Best of all, admission to the course is free (except Boxing Day and Easter Sunday).
Towcester Racecourse owes its great location, lovely backdrop, in fact its entire existence to the generosity of Lord Hesketh of Northamptonshire. It was his initiative that led to the founding of the Towcester Racecourse Company, and it was on his land on the Easton Neston estate that the racecourse opened its doors in 1928.

Uphill Struggle
Towcester is highly popular among the racing fraternity, because of the sharp bends in the course, and the final gallop to the finishing post is uphill, which tests the horses and results in some unexpected finishes.
